WHY WE'RE HERE
October 8th, 1991 to August 8th 2017
The killing of Kyyri Doggette occurred around 7:15 p.m. Aug. 8, in the 6700 block of E. Independence Boulevard. On arrival, officers said they found 25-year-old Doggette with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the Charlotte's 55th homicide of 2017.
